1. Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Rivage Doré Pilates (“the Studio”). By purchasing services, booking, or attending classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
2. Eligibility
Clients must be at least 16 years old to attend classes. Clients under 16 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Health Declaration
By attending classes, you confirm that:

You are medically fit to participate in Pilates or have obtained medical clearance.

You will inform the Studio of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy prior to participation.
4. Assumption of Risk
Participation in Pilates involves physical activity and carries inherent risks. Clients voluntarily accept full responsibility for any injury or harm that may occur.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Mauritian law, Rivage Doré Pilates, its owners, and instructors shall not be held liable for:

Personal injury sustained during classes.

Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
6. Studio Conduct
Clients must:

Arrive on time.

Follow instructor guidance at all times.

Respect other clients and staff.
Late arrivals may be refused entry for safety reasons.
7. Amendments
The Studio reserves the right to modify class schedules, instructors, pricing, and policies at any time.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Mauritian courts.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
1. Class Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled class.

Late cancellations will result in loss of the session.
2. No-Shows
Failure to attend a booked class without cancellation will result in forfeiture of the session.
3. Rescheduling
Classes may be rescheduled up to 12 hours before the start time without penalty.
4. Private Sessions

Require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Late cancellations are charged in full.
5. Studio Cancellations
If the Studio cancels a class, clients will receive a rescheduled session or credit.
6. Discretion
The Studio may waive penalties in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.
4. Package Purchase & Usage Policy
1. General Policy
All class packages purchased at Rivage Doré Pilates are subject to the following conditions.
2. Validity & Expiry

Packages are valid for a fixed period from the date of purchase (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, etc., depending on the package selected).

All sessions must be used before the expiry date.

Expired sessions will be forfeited and will not be reinstated.
3. Non-Transferability

Packages are strictly non-transferable and may only be used by the purchasing client.
4. Non-Shareable

Packages cannot be shared between multiple clients under any circumstances.
5. Non-Refundable

All purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused sessions.
6. Extensions

Extensions may be granted only in exceptional cases (e.g., medical reasons), subject to:

Supporting documentation.

Approval at the sole discretion of the Studio.

7. Booking Requirement

Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
8. Misuse
Any misuse of packages may result in suspension or cancellation without refund.
5. Code of Conduct
Rivage Doré Pilates is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment.
Clients must:

Treat others with respect

Follow instructor guidance

Maintain appropriate hygiene
The following will not be tolerated:

Harassment or discrimination

Disruptive or unsafe behaviour
The Studio reserves the right to refuse service without refund for violations.
6. Instructor Disclaimer
Instructors at Rivage Doré Pilates are qualified professionals; however:

They do not provide medical advice or diagnosis.

Classes are not a substitute for medical treatment.
Clients participate at their own risk and are responsible for consulting healthcare professionals where necessary.
7. Media & Photography Policy
The Studio may capture photos or videos for promotional use.
By attending, clients consent to possible inclusion in such media.
Clients wishing to opt out must notify the Studio in writing prior to attendance.
No compensation will be provided for use of such media.
8. Health & Safety Policy
Clients must not attend if unwell or experiencing contagious symptoms.
Clients agree to:

Follow hygiene protocols

Clean equipment after use
The Studio reserves the right to deny entry to protect the health of others.
9. Force Majeure
Rivage Doré Pilates shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control, including:

Cyclones or extreme weather

Government restrictions

Power outages
In such cases, the Studio may offer credits or extensions where feasible.
10. Emergency & Medical Consent
Clients agree that in the event of injury or medical emergency:

The Studio may contact the designated emergency contact.

The Studio may seek medical assistance on the client’s behalf if necessary.
Clients are responsible for keeping their information accurate and up to date.
